Ingredients

Servings:4
  • Beef Mince(600 g)
  • Onion(1)
  • Garlic(2 cloves)
  • Worcestershire sauce(1 tbsp)
  • Salt(1½ tsp)
  • Black pepper(1 tsp)
  • Olive oil(2 tbsp)
  • Potato(800 g)
  • Paprika(1 tsp)
  • Mayonnaise(120 g)
  • Nduja(60 g)
  • Lemon(1)
  • Burger Buns(4)
  • Lettuce(120 g)
  • Tomato(2)

Method

  1. 1

Heat the oven to 220°C. Cut the {Potato} into fries. Finely grate half the {Onion} and mince the {Garlic}. Slice the remaining {Onion} and the {Tomato}, and separate the {Lettuce} leaves.

    ~15 min

  2. 2

Toss the {Potato} with {Olive oil}, {Paprika}, {Salt}, and a little of the {Black pepper}. Spread out on a tray and bake for 25 minutes, turning halfway, until golden and crisp at the edges.

    ~25 min

  3. 3

Meanwhile, mix the {Mayonnaise}, {Nduja}, and juice from half the {Lemon} in a small bowl until smooth and lightly orange-red.

  4. 4

Mix the {Ground beef} with the grated {Onion}, {Garlic}, {Worcestershire sauce}, remaining {Black pepper}, and 1 tsp of the {Salt}. Form into 4 burger patties with a slight dip in the center.

  5. 5

Heat a large frying pan over medium-high heat with a little of the {Olive oil}. Cook the burger patties for 4–5 minutes per side until browned and cooked through. In the last minute, add the sliced {Onion} to soften lightly. Toast the {Burger Buns} cut-side down in the pan until warm.

    ~10 min

  6. 6

Spread the buns generously with the {Mayonnaise} and {Nduja} mixture, then stack with {Lettuce}, {Tomato}, the burgers, and softened onion. Serve straight away with the fries and lemon wedges from the remaining half of the {Lemon}.
