  • Ground turkey(600 g)
  • Onion(1)
  • Garlic(2 cloves)
  • Mustard(1 tbsp)
  • Paprika(1 tsp)
  • Salt(1½ tsp)
  • Black pepper(¾ tsp)
  • Olive oil(2 tbsp)
  • Sweet potato(2)
  • Garlic powder(1 tsp)
  • Burger Buns(4)
  • Avocado(2)
  • Lettuce(120 g)
  • Tomato(2)
  • Mayonnaise(4 tbsp)
  • Lemon(1)

Method

    Preheat the oven to 220°C. Cut the {Sweet potato} into wedges and place on a tray. Toss with {Olive oil}, {Garlic powder}, 0.5 tsp of the {Salt}, and a little of the {Black pepper}.

    Bake the wedges for 24 minutes, turning halfway, until golden and tender.

    Meanwhile, finely grate half the {Onion} and mince the {Garlic}. Slice the remaining {Onion}, slice the {Tomato}, shred the {Lettuce}, halve and slice the {Avocado}, and cut the {Lemon} into wedges.

    In a bowl, mix the {Ground turkey} with the grated {Onion}, {Garlic}, {Mustard}, {Paprika}, 1 tsp of the {Salt}, and the remaining {Black pepper}. Form into 4 even patties.

    Heat a large frying pan over medium heat. Cook the turkey patties for 10 minutes, turning once, until golden and cooked through.

    Spread the {Burger Buns} with {Mayonnaise}. Build each burger with {Lettuce}, a turkey patty, {Tomato}, sliced {Avocado}, and a squeeze of {Lemon}. Serve with the sweet potato wedges and sliced onion on the side or in the burgers.
