  • Garlic(3 cloves)
  • Fresh mint(2 tbsp)
  • Dried Oregano(1 tsp)
  • Cumin(1 tsp)
  • Salt(2 tsp)
  • Black pepper(1 tsp)
  • Olive oil(3 tbsp)
  • Greek yogurt(250 g)
  • Cucumber(1)
  • Lemon(1)
  • Fresh dill(2 tbsp)
  • Potato(800 g)
  • Paprika(1 tsp)
  • Burger Buns(4)
  • Lettuce(1)
  • Tomato(2)

Method

    Heat the oven to 220°C. Cut {Potato} into fries, toss with {Olive oil}, {Oregano}, {Paprika}, {Salt}, and {Black pepper}, then spread out on a large tray.

    Bake the fries for 25 minutes, turning once halfway, until golden and crisp at the edges.

    Meanwhile, grate {Cucumber}, squeeze out excess moisture, then mix with {Greek yogurt}, {Garlic}, {Lemon}, {Fresh dill}, {Olive oil}, and a pinch of remaining {Salt} and {Black pepper} to make the tzatziki. Slice the {Tomato}, separate the {Lettuce}, finely grate half the {Red Onion}, and slice the rest thinly.

    Mix {Ground lamb} with the grated {Red Onion}, remaining {Garlic}, {Fresh mint}, remaining {Cumin}, remaining {Salt}, and remaining {Black pepper}. Form into 4 thick patties.

    Heat the remaining {Olive oil} in a large pan and cook the lamb patties for 4 to 5 minutes per side until browned and cooked through. In the last minute, add the {Burger Buns} cut-side down to toast lightly in the pan or oven.

    Spread tzatziki over the {Burger Buns}, then stack with {Lettuce}, lamb patties, sliced {Tomato}, and sliced {Red Onion}. Serve with the oregano fries and lemon wedges from the remaining {Lemon}.
