  • Ground pork(600 g)
  • Apple(1)
  • Onion(1)
  • Breadcrumbs(40 g)
  • Mustard(1 tbsp)
  • Worcestershire sauce(1 tbsp)
  • Salt(1½ tsp)
  • Black pepper(1 tsp)
  • Potato(800 g)
  • Olive oil(3 tbsp)
  • Paprika(1 tsp)
  • Burger Buns(4)
  • Cheddar cheese(120 g)
  • Lettuce(1)
  • Mayonnaise(4 tbsp)
  • Dijon Mustard(1 tbsp)

Method

    Preheat the oven to 220°C. Cut the {Potato} into thin fries, then toss with {Olive oil}, {Paprika}, {Salt}, and half the {Black pepper}.

    Spread the fries on a tray and bake for 25 minutes, turning once halfway, until golden and crisp at the edges.

    Meanwhile, grate the {Apple} and coarsely grate half the {Onion}. Finely slice the remaining {Onion}. In a bowl, mix the grated {Apple}, grated {Onion}, {Ground pork}, {Breadcrumbs}, {Mustard}, {Worcestershire sauce}, remaining {Black pepper}, and half the {Salt}. Shape into 4 thick patties.

    Heat a large frying pan over medium heat with a little oil from the tray if needed. Cook the patties for 4 minutes on the first side. Flip, top each with {Cheddar cheese}, and cook for 4 more minutes until browned and cooked through.

    Mix the {Mayonnaise} and {Dijon Mustard}. Split and lightly toast the {Burger Buns}. Layer with {Lettuce}, the cheesy pork patties, sliced {Onion}, and mustard mayo.
