  • Beef Mince(500 g)
  • Black Beans(1)
  • Onion(1)
  • Garlic(2 cloves)
  • Cumin(1 tsp)
  • Smoked paprika(1 tsp)
  • Salt(1½ tsp)
  • Black pepper(1 tsp)
  • Eggs(1)
  • Breadcrumbs(40 g)
  • Olive oil(1 tbsp)
  • Cheddar cheese(120 g)
  • Burger Buns(4)
  • Lettuce(120 g)
  • Tomato(2)
  • Mayonnaise(4 tbsp)
  • Ketchup(2 tbsp)
  • Chipotle in Adobo(1 tbsp)
  • Potato(800 g)
  • Rapeseed Oil(2 tbsp)
  • Paprika(1 tsp)

Method

    Heat the oven to 220°C. Cut the {Potato} into fries, toss with {Vegetable oil}, {Paprika}, 1/2 tsp of the {Salt}, and a little of the {Black pepper}, then spread out on a large tray.

    Bake the fries for 25 minutes, turning halfway, until golden and crisp at the edges.

    Meanwhile, finely chop the {Onion} and mince the {Garlic}. Drain and roughly mash the {Black Beans}. Mix with the {Ground beef}, {Eggs}, {Breadcrumbs}, {Cumin}, {Smoked paprika}, remaining {Salt}, and remaining {Black pepper}. Shape into 4 thick patties.

    Stir together the {Mayonnaise}, {Ketchup}, and {Chipotle in Adobo}. Slice the {Tomato} and separate the {Lettuce} leaves. Split the {Burger Buns}.

    Heat the {Olive oil} in a large pan over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 4 minutes on the first side, flip, top with the {Cheddar cheese}, and cook for 4 minutes more until browned and cooked through.

    Assemble the burgers with chipotle sauce, {Lettuce}, {Tomato}, and the cheesy patties in the {Burger Buns}. Serve with the fries alongside.
